Brief detail

S series Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a new design. The new TXV is for using on Refrigerant R134a、R22、R407C、R502、R404A、R507. It is an important part in the new environmental protection Refrigeration and Air-Condition system.

Operating principle

After remove the Seal Cap, the Adjusting Stem can be turned. If it is turned clockwise, will increase superheat, if it is turned counterclockwise, superheat will be decreased. For each turn of the Adjusting Stem, the superheat will be changed about 4℃. Set superheat 3.5℃ when exit Factory.

Usage:

1. Attention: Before opening any system, make sure the pressure in the system is brought to and remains at atmospheric pressure. Failure to comply can result in system damage and/or personal injury.
2. Be sure valve is installed with its flow arrow corresponding to the flow direction through the piping, and the valves should be located as close as possible to the distributor or evaporator inlet.
3. When we sold the valve connections, we shall wrap wet cloths around the valve to prevent valve damage while brazing.
4. Attach the remote bulb to the suction line as close to the evaporator outlet as possible. Position the bulb at the 4 or 8 o’clock position. Clean surface of suction line where the remote bulb is to be attached. If the remote bulb can be affected by the surrounding ambient, then the bulb should be insulated with a material that will not absorb water.
5. Connect the optional external equalizer line to the suction line slightly downstream form the remote bulb location and positioned so that it cannot siphon oil from the suction line.
6. Make sure that the orifice you chose is suitable to the TEV of your system before install it.
